With the socioeconomic crisis sweeping Venezuela, starvation and disease are rising. We are honoured to partner with the Spanish Pentecostal Christian Fraternity Church in Surrey, BC who have well established contacts in there.

The Gleaners in Abbotsford and Oliver, BC have donated a 1000 boxes of dehydrated soup mix. For those who like numbers,

  • each box contains 12 bags
  • each bag holds 100 servings (12 bags x 100 servings = 1200 servings)
  • 1000 boxes x 1200 = 1.2 million servings.

That means we have 1.2 million servings of delicious and nutritious soup. Along with the soup, we’ll also be sending medical equipment and household supplies.

Here’s where we need help.

  1. Due to government regulations in Venezuela, all 1000 boxes of soup mix need to be relabeled. We need helping hands to do that.
  2. The soup plus other supplies will be shipped in a 40 foot container. Cost will be $14,000. We need to raise that money.

Think of it this way:

  • Every $14 donated will send 1000 servings of soup to starving people in Venezuela.
  • Every $140 will send 10,000 servings.
  • Every $1400 will send 100,000 servings.

Have you ever had 10,000 people thank you for buying them lunch? Here’s your chance.
